Kabir’s workshops use European and American Theatre Techniques to re-create situations that happen in the workplace. Through these theatrical improvisations participants are made to think on their feet and find the most apt solutions. It is similar to the concept of muscle memory used in sport where by using repetition or practice of a certain activity the participant is able to perform the activity near perfectly when put in a pressure situation. Audience and instructor feedback also plays a big role in assessing the solutions put forth in improvisations.
These workshops have been immensely successful in enhancing communication, etiquette, leadership, presentation, marketing and teamwork skills. As a result Kabir coaches the guest-facing employees in many of the luxury hotel brands in India. Pullman, Novotel, ITC Hotels, Lemon Tree and Red Fox are some of the brands that have benefitted from his workshops. He has custom-designed a module specifically for hotels where he recreates scenarios from negative guest feedback and participants are made to find appropriate and innovative solutions. This ensures that the same error does not get repeated.
Marketing, Presentation and confidence building are another area where these workshops have been beneficial. Kabir has created and conducted 2 day workshops where he trained relationship managers of Reliance Nippon Financial in Marketing, Presentation, Public Speaking and Customer Management. This workshop had a variety of practical exercises that improved communication, built confidence and taught participants to think creatively. The workshop received stellar reviews from the participant pool and it has now become a pan-India project.
Recently Kabir has been a consultant trainer with PwC on a yearly contract where he trains their managers on effective communication, solution finding through logical deduction, presentation and marketing.
